Q: How many products will ASPCart 4.5 support?
A: We have stress tested ASPCart 4.5
with over 21,000 different products and found performance
to be acceptable.
Q: Can I use ASPCart 4.5 with SQL server?
A: When using SQL server, we recommend
you purchase our SQL specific version.
Q: Will ASPCart with with my payment gateway?
A: Yes, with a little customization
ASPCart works with almost all payment gateways. We also have
free plugins for Authorize.Net, Global Payments & Etelcharge
available for download.
Q: My ASPCart needs to have some special
functions, how do I make it perform the way I want?
A: We have a complete customization
service available; we design a special cart around your needs.

Errors:
Error:
HTTP Error 400
400 Bad Request Due to malformed syntax,
the request could not be understood by the server. The client
should not repeat the request without modifications.
Background: This error occurs on certain
redirects when using Netscape 4.X - The newest beta version
of Netscape corrects this problem.
Solution: Upgrade your browser
Error:
HTTP Error 405
405 Method Not Allowed The method specified
in the Request Line is not allowed for the resource identified
by the request. Please ensure that you have the proper MIME
type set up for the resource you are requesting.
Please contact the server's administrator
if this problem persists.
Background: This message often indicates
that insufficient permissions have been specified for the
directory in which mailto.exe is being run.
Solution: From the server's console,
start the Internet Information Server Manager. View the "HOME
DIRECTORY" properties of the virtual server affected with
the above error message. Make sure that the permission setting
labeled "Execute (Including Script)" is enabled. Apply these
permissions and restart the virtual host profile if necessary.
Error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
error '80004005' [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver]
Operation must use an updatable query.
Background: The "Internet user"
must have permission to write data to the temporary table
so that orders can be stored. This error occurs when insufficient
permission have been assigned to that user.
Solution: Give the IUSR_ ServerName
"Full Control" of the folder in which aspcart5.mdb
resides (usually the aspcart folder)
Error:
Microsoft][ODBC
Microsoft Access 97 Driver] Can't open database '(unknown)'.
It may not be a database that your application recognizes,
or the file may be corrupt.
Background:
This error occurs when the server attempts to open the database
using an Access 97 driver.
Solution:
Update the server's MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components)
to the most recent version.
